From one employee to a workforce of more than 650+ in three years, we are celebrating the people behind our progress.

Combuzz HR Solutions is proud to be Great Place To Work® Certified™ in the UAE for October 2026–October 2027.

This is a milestone we share with our people. It recognises workplace experience through employee feedback and gives us an opportunity to appreciate the colleagues who contribute to Combuzz every day. Our certification is also reflected in Great Place To Work Middle East’s certified-organisations directory.

Three years ago, Combuzz started with one employee. Today, our workforce includes more than 650 employees, including staff employed by Combuzz and deployed to client organisations.

That journey gives meaning to our purpose: Powering Business Through People. It connects the work we do for clients with the responsibility we have towards our own employees.

As we celebrate this recognition, we are also looking ahead. Growing a business means continuing to ask how we can support people, improve communication, and make everyday work better.

Our journey from one employee to a workforce of 650+

Every organisation has a beginning. Ours started three years ago with one employee and the ambition to help businesses address their people requirements.

Today, that beginning has grown into a workforce of more than 650. This includes our colleagues working within Combuzz and employees deployed to support client organisations.

The distinction matters. Our workforce extends beyond the people a visitor might meet at our Dubai office. Employees work in different roles and settings, contributing to the wider business through their assignments and responsibilities.

For us, growth brings responsibilities alongside opportunities. More employees mean more relationships to support, more information to coordinate and more individual experiences to understand.

A headcount tells part of a business story. The fuller picture includes the work behind it: recruitment coordination, employment documentation, communication with clients, employee enquiries and the daily cooperation that keeps assignments moving.

This milestone gives us a chance to acknowledge that work. It also reminds us to consider the people behind each requirement, whether they are joining a team, starting an assignment or supporting colleagues through a busy period.

Our growth story and our certification are related milestones, but they describe different things. The 650+ figure describes our total employed workforce, including deployed staff. Great Place To Work certification recognises workplace experience through its assessment process. We do not present our total workforce figure as a survey participation count.

What the certification means

Great Place To Work certification is grounded in employee feedback about workplace experience. Its published process includes the Trust Index™ employee survey and a Culture Brief™, followed by assessment against its certification criteria.

That makes the recognition meaningful to us. It brings employees’ perspectives into the conversation about the organisation we are building.

For an HR and workforce solutions business, it is particularly relevant to reflect on the experience of its own people. Supporting other organisations with employment requirements makes our internal commitment to employees an important part of our identity.

It gives us a reason to celebrate while continuing to pay attention to how people experience their work.

The recognition also encourages a practical question: what should we keep doing, and where can we do better? Employee feedback can help focus that discussion. The value of listening lies in the attention and response that follow.

We see this achievement as a milestone in that ongoing work. We want to carry the same care into daily interactions that we bring to celebrating the recognition itself.

Our leadership

Combuzz was founded by Jihas Kasim, Founder and CEO, with a vision to simplify workforce solutions for businesses operating in the UAE and beyond.

His industry experience spans more than ten years, with a focus on Employer of Record, contract staffing, recruitment and related workforce services. His professional profile also covers Corporate PRO services, payroll, Emiratisation and HR compliance.

The growth of Combuzz reflects a business built around those employment and workforce needs. As the company develops, the focus must include the people who deliver its services as well as the organisations receiving them.

That relationship gives the certification a place within our wider story. Leadership sets direction, while employees bring their knowledge and effort to the daily work of the business.

Our recognition is an opportunity to appreciate both that shared effort and the responsibility to support it. It is also an opportunity to recognise employees’ contributions to the company’s development and appreciate the shared effort behind its work.

Our people and workplace culture

A workplace is experienced through everyday moments. It is shaped by how a question is answered, how information is shared and how colleagues respond when someone needs assistance.

These interactions can be easy to overlook during busy periods. Yet they form much of a person’s experience of work.

At Combuzz, our team story includes the people coordinating assignments, speaking with candidates, supporting clients and handling employment administration. It also includes employees working at client locations, whose connection to their employer remains important beyond our office.

Different work settings bring different needs. Someone working alongside an office team may experience communication differently from an employee carrying out an assignment elsewhere. Recognising those differences is part of understanding a workforce that includes deployed staff.

The certification gives us an opportunity to reflect on these relationships and appreciate the people involved. It does not replace the daily attention that a positive workplace requires.

Our intention is to continue supporting an environment where colleagues can contribute, ask questions and develop their professional experience. The next stage of our journey should be shaped by listening as well as by business growth.

Making time to connect

Our weekly Friday playtime gives colleagues an opportunity to spend time together beyond their daily tasks. UNO is a familiar part of these sessions, bringing friendly competition and conversation into the week.

These moments allow people to interact outside their immediate responsibilities. They create opportunities to learn more about colleagues and share a different side of working together.

We value those connections, while recognising that culture involves much more than an activity calendar. Clear communication, consideration and reliable support matter throughout the working week.

The celebration of our certification brings those everyday relationships into focus. The people in the photographs are the colleagues behind the company’s work, and the shared moments are part of the story we want to recognise.

Celebrating together

On 16 October 2026, we came together to celebrate our Great Place To Work certification.

The occasion included employee experience sharing, a shared meal, cake cutting and team games. It gave colleagues time to reflect on the achievement, connect with one another and enjoy a milestone made possible by people.

The programme placed employee experiences alongside the celebration itself. Hearing colleagues share their perspectives added a personal dimension to an announcement that might otherwise be expressed only through a certificate or badge.

The informal moments mattered too. Friendly competition, conversations over food and a group photograph helped make the day a shared experience.

We thank everyone who contributed to the occasion, including the colleagues who organised the decorations, coordinated food and prepared the games. Their effort helped bring the team together and create memories we can look back on.

More than an announcement, the event was an opportunity to say thank you. We appreciate the contributions our employees make in their roles and the support they offer one another.

Supporting our clients

Combuzz’s services reflect different requirements across hiring and employment. Our work includes helping organisations recruit people, manage staffing needs and coordinate workforce administration. [3]

The right starting point depends on the business. A company entering a market, a team filling a permanent role and an organisation responding to a temporary project may need different forms of support.

Employer of Record

Our Employer of Record services in the UAE support businesses that need a local employment arrangement. Combuzz describes its role as managing employment responsibilities while the client directs day-to-day work and performance.

Contract staffing

Contract staffing addresses workforce requirements linked to assignments, projects and changing operational needs. It is particularly relevant to our story because our employed workforce includes staff deployed to client organisations.

Recruitment

Our recruitment services help businesses identify and select talent. Recruitment connects an organisation’s role requirements with candidates’ experience and suitability.

Corporate PRO and HR support

Our wider services include Corporate PRO, Emiratisation, and HR advisory and payroll support. These areas address administrative and people requirements that accompany employment.

Our certification should be understood alongside those services as recognition relating to workplace experience. Businesses assessing a service arrangement should still consider its scope, responsibilities and fit for their requirements.

Industries and countries we serve

Working across different sectors

We are closely working with industries including information technology, banking and finance, engineering, construction, logistics, retail, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing and automotive.

Other sectors include insurance, oil and gas, aviation, marine, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, education, food and beverage, facilities management and renewable energy.

These sectors involve different skills, workplaces and operating patterns. A useful workforce discussion starts with understanding the role and work setting rather than assuming that one staffing approach suits every business.

UAE roots and wider service coverage

Combuzz is based in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Our listed service markets include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, alongside international markets such as India, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States.

This is service coverage, rather than a statement that Combuzz has an office or directly owned entity in every listed country. Arrangements vary by market and requirement.

Our UAE certification relates to the country and validity period stated on the badge. The wider list of service markets should be read separately from that certification scope.

See our countries served page to explore the listed markets and contact us about a specific requirement.

Our approach to workforce solutions

Why Choose Combuzz: our service approach centred on UAE market understanding, flexible support, tailored services, digital workflows, hiring coordination and attention to employment requirements.

In practice, a useful conversation begins with the client’s circumstances. What role needs to be filled? Where will the person work? Is the requirement ongoing or linked to a particular assignment? Which responsibilities will each organisation handle?

These questions help define a workable scope and set expectations before an assignment begins. They also help keep the employee’s experience visible within a discussion often focused on timing and operational needs.

Technology can support coordination and reduce repetitive administration. Human attention remains necessary when a requirement changes or an employee needs an explanation.

As we celebrate our recognition, we want to keep both aspects in view: organised service delivery and the people affected by it. They are connected responsibilities in a workforce business.

The next chapter

Our first three years have taken us from one employee to a workforce of more than 650, including colleagues deployed to client organisations.

Great Place To Work certification adds another milestone to that journey. It recognises workplace experience and gives us a moment to thank the people behind the business.

We are proud of the achievement, and we recognise the responsibility that comes with continuing to grow. Supporting a larger workforce means keeping individual experiences visible, even as the numbers change.

To every member of our team: thank you for your contribution, your feedback and the part you play in Combuzz’s story.

We look forward to the next chapter together.
