JOB DESCRIPTION:

You are expected to make sure the brigade is producing top-quality cuisine and that chefs with talent are trained and developed. 

 In addition, you will be taking charge of the kitchen in the head chef’s absence. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Running the kitchen when the Head Chef is away. 

Ensuring your brigade has high culinary standards. 

Managing food purchasing and storage. 

Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment. Helping create new recipes and write menus. 

QUALIFICATION:

Skills Needed 

A flair with ingredients 

ShapeAn ability to stay calm when the pressure mounts Strong leadership skills to motivate your brigade of chefs First rate culinary skills 

 Extra Qualifications 

ShapeA minimum of 3 years working experience within high-volume restaurants. 

 Additional Expectations 

ShapeYou'll be someone who performs well under pressure and recognizes the importance of motivating and leading other members of staff who may also be working under pressure.
